What We Do

Children under the age of 18 should not be working

All children should be able to attend school

No child should put their life at risk

No child should be sold from their family

No child should be in a life threatening situation

No child should be underpaid for their work

No child should need to work illegally to support their family

All countries should be child labor free.

That’s why we encourage you to take action with the symbol of child labor free chocolate

And help raise awareness and money

in order to save a child’s education in Ghana

so a child can go to school and have a better future

and the next time you eat child labor-free chocolate,

your day just got sweeter.

I strive to bring awareness to child labor in the cocoa industry on the west coast of Africa to promote the abolishment of child labor and guaranteed education. Let these children “suffer less and learn more” so that they can have a future, much brighter than the one that's in store for them right now. By promoting chocolate companies such as TCHO Chocolate who work against child labor, and educating the uneducated about where 60% of the world's chocolate comes from, everyone around the world can make a difference. The more children able to attend school, the less likely children will be put in a situation desperate for money and trapped in the recurring cycle of child labor.
